Taupō Edition MONOPOLY brought together the Taupō Business Chamber and Winning Moves to celebrate the region in true board-game style.
Legend was asked to design the official board and box, balancing local personality with a polished look that could represent the wider Taupō district. The design needed to feel iconic, recognisable, and region-wide without leaning too heavily on one business, suburb, or landmark.
Gemma led the design, creating a clean board layout built around four distinct Taupō landscapes. The box design features the #LOVETAUPŌ sign, Lake Taupō scenery, bold pinks and purples, and enough Monopoly charm to keep it familiar without losing its local flavour.
The result is a board game that feels proudly Taupō, visually sharp, and worthy of a permanent spot on the coffee table.
